Smoked salmon salad

I love smoked salmon for a quick dinner because you can throw together a hearty salad in a matter of minutes. Salmon is a great source of Vitamin D, and Omega 3 fatty acids. Foods in such as salmon that have DHA omega 3’s have been linked to cognitive and mood boosting benefits. So make sure to get in your salmon to beat the seasonal blues.

Ingredients:

5 cups arugula

1 cup sliced broccoli

1 cup sliced cherry tomatoes

1 cup coined carrots

1/2 pound smoked salmon

1/2 cup sliced almonds

Ranch dressing to taste

Instructions:

Chop all ingredients, and toss together in a bowl. Dress with ranch, or your favorite dressing.

Serving size: 4
